以木頭的溫潤乘載阿里山的山中大小事。
嘉義昔日又稱「木都」，阿里山中的林木也紀錄了森林歷史的記憶。木製公仔重新解構、重組森林裡的大小事，打造森林限定的木頭公仔。以阿里山職人、阿里山山色、阿里山動物、阿里山植物，四款 系列主題製作兩百五十隻的木頭公仔，藝術家順著木頭自然的紋理刻削出溫潤質樸的痕跡以呼應木頭的生命力，重新詮釋所有於阿里山的存在，讓每一隻木頭公仔都成為可以收藏的森林回憶。
Chiayi was once called the “Capital of Wood”. The trees and woods of Alishan also documented the memories and history of the forest. The forest’s stories are deconstructed and reassembled in our limited edition of wooden figurines. These 250 wooden figurines have 4 main themes: Alishan’s professionals, sceneries, flora, and fauna. Artists follow the wood’s natural patterns to carve out shapes and forms, in response to the life and energy contained in every piece. They reinterpret the existence on Alishan, so that every figurine becomes a collectible memory of the forest.
